Job Summary
The part-time lecturer will teach 1-2 courses per semester. The majority of courses taught will be at the undergraduate level, but a graduate course may be included. Appointments carry no guarantee or expectation of renewal or tenure.

Preferred Education and Experience
- Earned doctoral degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a closely related field with at least two years of teaching experience at the college or university level. Experience as a teaching assistant is included.
- Experience teaching biomedical engineering, biology, chemistry, or engineering is preferred.
- Prepare and teach undergraduate and/or graduate lectures and/or undergraduate labs using existing course materials as a guide and template
- Compile and submit assessment data per departmental procedures;
- Participate in course and instructor evaluations
- May work with one or more TA's
- Collaborate with other faculty in the department on course materials and instruction
- Other duties as assigned
