Administrative Assistant - Information Technology
PSEA, a labor organization representing 178,000 members who work in school settings - is seeking a highly motivated, organized Administrative Assistant to join the IT team in our downtown Harrisburg, PA location. This position is a full-time, in-person position, and provides administrative support to our I.T. and Printing and Distribution departments and helps ensure that the operations of the office run efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Answer phones and route calls
- Administer corporate accounts with various 3rd party vendors
- Code and process invoices and purchase orders
- Order equipment & office supplies
- Department leave administration
- Maintenance of technology equipment inventory
- Shipping and receiving
- Data entry and reporting
- Coordination of departmental activities
- General clerical duties
Skills

- Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Excel, and Word
