Job Summary:

The TCU Center for Real Estate Program Coordinator will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to effectively convey messaging for the center. They will oversee internal and external communications, manage media relations, and ensure consistent messaging across all channels.

Duties & Essential Job Functions:

1. Develops and implements comprehensive communication strategies to promote the organization's mission, vision, and objectives.
2. Oversees all internal and external communications, ensuring consistency in messaging and alignment with organizational goals.
3. Develops and maintains social media platforms for the Center for Real Estate.
4. Manages media relations, including press releases, media inquiries, and interviews, to enhance the organization's public image.
5. Collaborates with other departments, such as marketing, public relations, and executive leadership, to ensure integrated communication approaches.
6. Manages communication budgets, allocate resources effectively, and ensure compliance with financial guidelines and regulations.
7. Works in close partnership with Neeley School faculty and staff to attract new students and external partners to real estate programs.
8. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Knowledge of basic office techniques.
• Knowledge of basic customer service techniques.
• Skill in the use of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Skill in effective written and verbal communications.

Physical Requirements (With or Without Accommodations):

• Visual acuity to read information from computer screens, forms and other printed materials and information.
• Able to speak (enunciate) clearly in conversation and general communication.
• Hearing ability for verbal communication/conversation/responses via telephone, telephone systems, and face-to-face interactions.
• Manual dexterity for typing, writing, standing and reaching, flexibility, body movement for bending, crouching, walking, kneeling and prolonged sitting.
• Lifting and moving objects and equipment up to 10 lbs.

Work Environment:

• Work is indoors and sedentary and is subject to schedule changes and/or variable work hours.
• This role is an on campus, in-person position.
• There are no harmful environmental conditions present for this job.
• The noise level in this work environment is usually moderate.
