Job Summary:

The Assistant Director of Programs, Center for Real Estate is responsible for the planning, implementation, and departmental support needed to effectively run and grow the Center's Events and Programs. This role will work to build and enrich the Center while increasing the global reputation and ranking of the Neeley School of Business. This position is directly responsible for managing, coordinating and developing Programs and Events for the TCU Center for Real Estate Board of Advisors, graduate/undergraduate initiatives, and coordination of industry events. This position will aid and support all necessary events and planning needed to maintain the highest level of excellence for the program.

Duties & Essential Job Functions:

1. Defines undergraduate outreach initiatives (e.g., events, social media, partnership relationships, recruitment, marketing collateral) in collaboration with TCU Advancement and the Dean's Office.
2. Works in conjunction with the CRE Director to maintain, grow and enrich the Center's Events and Programs.
3. Benchmarks, develops ideas, and implements strategies to grow Center visibility and competitive edge in the marketplace along with increasing the global reputation and ranking of Neeley School Real Estate Programs.
4. Manages outreach, development, and growth of Center programs and events by acting as a key interface with the business community, building and sustaining long-term partnerships, and developing events, projects, and programs to promote the growth of the Center and its contributions for students, faculty, and business partners.
5. Performs market, competitive, and opportunity analyses to envision and define future Center program opportunities and value proposition.
6. Supports fundraising efforts for Center initiatives, events, and across campus collaborations. Coordinates fundraising opportunities with new and existing Board Members alongside TCU Advancement and the Dean's office.
7. Determines and manages resources required to complete projects according to budgets and timelines.
8. Develops, monitors, and updates necessary reports to document outcomes on a regular basis.
9. Provides exemplary customer service to students, corporate partners, faculty, staff and guests.
10. Provides support and direction to the Real Estate Club as needed.
11. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Three years of experience in marketing, development or event planning and execution.

Preferred Education & Experience:

• Experience working within a University environment

• This role is an on campus, in-person position, but may require some travel for events.
