SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY CLINICAL INSTRUCTOR

(Part Time)

The Master of Speech-Language Pathology Program at St. Ambrose University, Davenport, IA invites qualified applicants for a 9-month part-time Clinical Instructor position starting Fall 2024. The position is 20 hours per week. Responsibilities include clinical education / supervision of graduate speech-language pathology students, direct clinical services, academic advising and participation in the program's evaluation and continuous improvement processes.

Candidates are required to have an earned Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Certificate of Clinical Competence, a minimum of 5 years speech-language pathology experience beyond graduate school, previous clinical supervision experience, and be eligible for Iowa licensure. Experience providing prevention, assessment and intervention speech-language pathology services for low incidence populations in PreK-12 educational setings will enhance the candidate's application.

The Master of Speech-Language Pathology Program is housed within the College of Health and Human Services. The College offers a variety of programs in education, health care, and human services (e.g., physical therapy, occupational therapy, nursing, social work, early childhood education, elementary education, public health, physician assistant, exercise science.) Programs engage in interprofessional education, high impact practices and outreach services that enhance the student experience and promote a culture of collaboration, advocacy and person-centered care.
