Manager of Special Events
MANAGER OF SPECIAL EVENTS
The Advancement Office has a full-time opening for a Manager of Special Events. The successful candidate will be able to assist with a comprehensive event program that engages alumni and donors in the life of the university. Specific tasks include coordinating Homecoming festivities and assist with work related to the Wine Festival.
The individual must be highly organized, demonstrate initiative, have strict attention to detail, possess strong communication and excellent customer service skills, and be able to handle multiple projects with various deadlines.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree or six years of related experience, a high degree of integrity, confidentiality, ability to communicate effectively with a variety of internal and external constituencies, and have excellent oral and written communication skills.
