ASSISTANT TEACHER - Children's Campus

At St. Ambrose University Children's Campus, we believe that the early years are crucial for laying the foundation of a child's lifelong love of learning. Our program is designed to spark imagination, promote socio-emotional development, and foster a sense of wonder in every child.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist lead teacher in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities for 2-year-olds.
  • Create warm, nurturing, and safe environment where children can explore, learn, and grow.
  • Support children in developing important skills such as communication, fine and gross motor skills, and independence.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.

Requirements:

  • A two-year Associate Degree in Child Development or related field or a Child Development Associate.
  • Must have ability to communicate effectively with young children and their families.
  • Demonstrate patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
  • Have the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
