ASSISTANT NETWORK SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR

The Information Technology Department at St. Ambrose University has an opening for an Assistant Network / Systems Administrator to provide Tier III technical support for University network infrastructure and systems infrastructure; support, testing, and troubleshooting hardware and software problems pertaining to the network and system infrastructure; and limited backup, server configuration, upgrades and patches, and server security. Qualified candidates must possess strong customer service skills; the ability to learn new technology quickly; strong analytical skills; demonstrated knowledge of network / system design and maintenance; and must interact well in a team environment while managing diverse tasks and priorities.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree, and/or 4 years of experience with preference given for a degree in the computer science field.
