ACADEMIC ADVISOR & RECRUITER FOR ONLINE PROGRAMS - NURSING

The St. Ambrose University Department of Nursing in Davenport is seeking to hire an academic advisor and recruiter for our online nursing programs. Candidates will be joining a well-established department focused on preparing nursing students for practice based on the mission and philosophy of the Department of Nursing and St. Ambrose University.

The primary responsibility for this position is academic advising and recruiting for new and prospective students in online nursing programs. This person will possess expertise managing complex database systems and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

This person will possess outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with prospective students. Excellent oral and written communication skills. A background in nursing and/or previous admission and recruitment employment is preferred. Experience with planning, reporting and marketing is a plus. A minimum of Bachelor's degree or 4 years of experience in area of responsibility or related area. Travel is required with this position. Remote work may be possible within the Midwest region.
