FARM MANAGER AND DRIVER

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

The job duties will include hauling grain and livestock via semi-truck. Management of farm when needed and supervision of employees. Prior farm management requires five years' experience. Application of chemicals such as fertilizer and other chemicals must have private applicant's license or be willing to obtain one. Also, prior experience and licensing are required for the application of chemicals.

In addition, there will be heavy lifting of 60-100 pounds or more and long hours sometimes working 80 plus hours per week. There are no job benefits, no health insurance or 401(k) in this position and travel to and from the job is required.

The employee must have 5 years' prior driving experience and have their CDL for driving a semi-truck as that will be part of the job as well as be BQA certified and TQA certified. The employee must drive a tractor trailer combination and at times a truck with a capacity to haul at least 26,001 pounds gross weight vehicle.

The area of intended employment is Deer Grove, Illinois.
