JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare written daily orders
  • Ability to organize and delegate work assignments/tasks
  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment including slicer, steamer, deep fryer, ovens, broiler, grill, mixer, kettle, and griddles
  • Actively participates with staff to cook, prepare, dish-up and assemble all outlets food
  • Adheres to control procedure for food costs and quality
  • Abide by all health codes and hand washing guidelines
  • Prepares all food items according to standard recipes and menu to ensure consistency
    of product to the guest
  • Ability to read and gather all necessary items for recipe execution
  • Ability to provide clear direction, instruction and guidance to subordinates
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work, and meet deadlines
  • Be able to prepare an order list for recipe preparations
  • Preparing mise en place items for preparations to coincide with menus
  • Ability to recite recipes from memory
  • Any other assigned duties and responsibilities

Employees in this position may be assigned to work in other Food & Beverage positions that require the same type of license.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF EXPERIENCE OR EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Requires a minimum of one-year experience in food preparation and food knowledge
  • Must complete all required company training
