RESPONSIBILITIES
SIGINT Analysis Instructors at the National Security Agency employ the latest principles of adult learning and SIGINT Analysis to design, develop and deliver classroom instruction using advanced technology and multimedia, as well as adapting blended and flipped classroom techniques for beginning through advanced level SIGINT Analysis in order to provide training to a worldwide workforce. Description of Position Our full-time instructors teach as well as develop, deliver, assess, and evaluate training and materials for intelligence professionals. Our instructor cadre is encouraged to continue professional development to enhance existing skills and knowledge or expertise through training related research or course work and through participation and presentations at conferences, seminars and workshops and other fora. They also partner with individuals in academia, the public and private sectors, and other governmental agencies to develop and refine training components, participate in decision-making policy and craft guidelines to enhance their training and performance assessment on the individual and program levels. As a SIGINT Analysis Instructor at NSA, responsibilities may include: - Design, develop, document, maintain, and deliver training courses. - Design, develop, and administer tests and provide feedback on test performance. - Incorporate and implement training technologies in course development and delivery (for example, e-learning, learning management systems). - Conduct and participate in needs assessments for training and development. - Develop training curricula (for example, content, learning objectives). - Produce training materials (for example, handouts, presentation slides, online course materials). - Deliver formal training. - Evaluate training (for example, courses, methods, materials, content, assessments). - Participate in curriculum audits. - Handle day-to-day activities associated with implementation of learning events, interventions, and employee development programs (for example, schedule activities, coordinate, or provide feedback to participants).
SKILLS
Knowledge and experience in the following is preferred: - Recent operational experience and proficiency in Network Exploitation Target Analysis (NETA) - A minimum of six years of combined experience in SIGINT Analysis and related instruction - Proficiency with NETA-related skills instruction to adult learners. - Proficiency with CYBER-related skills instruction to adult learners - Experience teaching on Virtual Learning Platforms - Proficiency with networking technologies and their implementation In addition, the ideal candidate will: - Possess excellent verbal, writing, and presentation skills - Have experience teaching and developing courseware for adult learners - Possess subject matter expertise related to equipment and technologies - Have demonstrated skills in teaming and collaboration
PAY BENEFITS & WORK SCHEDULE
Salary offers are based on candidates' education level and years of experience relevant to the position and also take into account information provided by the hiring manager/organization regarding the work level for the position. Salary Range: $74,950 - $164,102 (Full Performance, Senior) Work Schedule: Typical work schedule is Monday - Friday, with basic 8hr/day work requirements between 0600 and 1800 (flexible).
