Job Description | The Executive Director – Tampa in the Caylor School of Nursing shall assist the administrative head of the designated School and assist in the responsibility for growth and development of School programs, positive leadership of faculty, and effective operations of all aspects within the School. The Executive Director shall assist in coordination of the work of the School. The Executive Director will be responsible for leadership of all Outcomes Assessment activities and reports for the University, School, and approval/accreditation agencies. |
Required Qualifications | *earned doctorate; *successful teaching experience in higher education; and *record of successful experience in higher education administration |
Preferred Qualifications | *experience in private higher education. |

Job Duty | assist with the process of seeking, achieving and maintaining program accreditation when appropriate; |

Job Duty | assist with the development, implementation, evaluation and preparation of annual reports of the Outcomes Assessment Plan for all academic programs in the School; |

Job Duty | assist the Dean with the development, implementation, evaluation and preparation of annual reports of the Strategic Plan as related to each department and academic program within the School; |

Job Duty | assist with coordinating arrangements for orientation of new faculty and staff members; |

Job Duty | assist the Dean as needed with department chairs and program directors in developing course schedules and assist as needed in monitoring program enrollments, class sizes, and grade distributions; |

Job Duty | assist with ensuring effective student advising; |

Job Duty | complete required institutional, program accreditation and other reports necessary for the operation and advancement of University programs, both on campus and at extended campus sites; |

Job Duty | develop annual budget proposals that adequately and appropriately reflect needs of Tampa academic programs; |

Job Duty | coordinate Tampa budget preparation and management; |

Job Duty | teaching responsibilities as assigned; and |

Job Duty | perform other duties as assigned. |
