$2,000 Hire On BonusThe Lincoln Journal Star, a Lee Enterprises, Inc. publication is seeking a Route Manager to join the team. This critical position works closely with independent contractors and other members of management to ensure the daily, effective, efficient and timely delivery of newspapers and other media, works to resolve problems with contractors, customers and supervisors as well as analyze, design, and implement formation of routes on an on-going basis to meet service criteria in the most cost effective manner. Communication with team members is key!

Key duties include:
- Recruit and select independent contractors for paper delivery routes in assigned district
- Formulate and implement contingency plans for paper delivery if a contractor opening occurs in assigned district
- Respond to customer requests, inquiries, complaints and service stops
- Assesses delivery routes and modify as needed to achieve optimum efficiency and timeliness of paper deliveries
- Work with contractors to ensure delivery service standards
