Job Summary
Hazard Community & Technical College is inviting applications for a Maintenance & Operations Worker. We are currently looking to fill a 2nd shift position with the location primarily serving our Lees College Campus in Jackson, KY.
We will begin review of applications on May 27, 2023
Job Duties:
Duties will include, but not be limited to
Perform grounds maintenance: mowing, weed eating, planting, snow removal, parking lot repairs.
Perform general custodial duties: cleaning floors, offices, bathrooms, removal of trash.
Perform set up of tables, chairs, stages, etc. for events on campus.
Provides HVAC monitoring/maintenance.
Performs basic installation of receptacles, switches, breakers, ballast; replaces light fixtures.
Perform basic power equipment repairs and upkeep.
Perform basic plumbing: water fountain installations, waterline repairs, valve repairs, drain line maintenance.
Perform basic carpentry; dry walling, painting, door repair, installation of partitions, and installation of ceiling and floor tiles.
*May be assigned to other campuses or shifts as needed.*
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED and one year related experience required. Basic computer/technology skills required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Microsoft Office software knowledge preferred.
