EveryChild, formerly known as the Child Abuse Council, is a bi-state, regional nonprofit agency that provides child abuse prevention, education, and treatment programs for children and families. EveryChild is governed by a 13-member Board of Directors and has a 32-member staff. EveryChild's offices are in Moline, Illinois, and the organization has a $2 million operating budget.
The last decade at EveryChild has been a time of growth and ambition for the organization. Having the reputation as a premier provider of quality and meaningful services in the community, EveryChild has sought to support its community in new ways. As the Board and the leadership of Executive Director move forward, the next Executive Director will have the opportunity to leverage recent success in the execution of a comprehensive strategy for growth and innovation within the organization. This will include both the continued integration of core programming across the organization to ensure maximum impact for the individuals served, as well as furthering key growth opportunities.
All efforts will culminate in the opportunity for the Executive Director to lead a visioning process that respects the past and current successes of EveryChild and outlines the path to continued, expanded growth and success as a premier organization in the Quad Cities region.
The next Executive Director is an entrepreneurial individual who will bring leadership characterized by a visionary outlook; the ability to garner broad internal and external support; extraordinary success creating strong, effective, collaborative teams; sound business, financial, and management acumen; the propensity to increase the visibility and philanthropic resources for the organization; and the fortitude to carry forward major new projects and initiatives in the interest of spurring further growth.
With a strong focus on planning and management, the ideal candidate will have demonstrated leadership developing a compelling and inspired vision and mobilizing the organization in its achievement. Experience nurturing a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence among staff is desired. A proven track record of successful strategies to identify, recruit, and retain talent is essential. The ability to lead employees as an effective team of closely coordinated, highly professional, accountable staff members is a must. The ideal candidate must also possess strong relationship development skills that are effective in engaging EveryChild's key stakeholders.

The salary range for this position annually is between $100,000 - $120,000 and will be commensurable with experience. The comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, vision, group life insurance, a 401(k) plan and EAP benefits program. Client Organization observes ten paid holidays each year and offers Paid Time Off as well as Sick Leave.
