Eastern Iowa Community Colleges is seeking a full-time
GRANTS AND CONTRACTS MANAGER
Reporting Relationship:
- Executive Director of Business Services
Salary:
- $65,000-$72,000 plus benefits
Position Summary:
The primary functions of the Grants & Contracts Manager are: to determine the College's immediate and long term needs for external resources that will support the College's strategic plan; develop and write grant proposals and contracts; secure funding from outside resources; direct all aspects of the management system of grants & contracts.
Management of the Resource Development office includes establishing and maintaining contacts with federal, state, and local funding agencies and assures compliance with the agencies and College's policy and procedures. The Grant & Contracts Manager will serve as a liaison between agencies and College staff regarding federal, state, and local funding policies and opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree required in education, business administration, marketing, or related field. Community college experience preferred.
Experience:
- Evidence of successful grant development and management skills required.
- Five years previous grants & contracts writing preferred.
