Aledo, IL Police Officer
The Aledo Police Department is accepting applications for the position of Police Officer (full and part-time openings). Applications will be accepted until all positions are filled. Qualified candidates will be required to successfully complete a physical agility test, comprehensive written test, psychological screening, and a medical examination.
Applicants who have successfully completed the Basic Police Academy and are certified by the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board to work as a Law Enforcement Officer in the State of Illinois will be given preference. A lateral hire process is available for fully trained, experienced officers.

The starting salary scale for full-time officers is dependent upon qualifications and experience.
