As a Student Support Representative, you'll be at the forefront of our college's mission, engaging with prospective and current students to guide them through their academic journey. From answering inquiries to providing vital information, your role is crucial in ensuring a seamless admissions process. Join us in creating a positive and enriching experience for every student, as we work together towards achieving our enrollment goals and fostering student success!

A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL:
  • Respond to prospective and current student inquiries using standardized procedures.
  • Using omnichannel contact center technology, partners with prospective students to determine eligibility and provide information on admissions procedures.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for current student questions relating to the following areas:
o Financial aid, including grants, scholarships, loans, and work-study programs, as well as satisfactory

academic progress

o Tuition, fees, payment plans, and due dates.

o Student registration and withdrawals.

o Transcript, degree audit, and general records inquiries

o Graduation clearance

o Direction and guidance related to the Baker OneStop Portal.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and guidelines.
  • Adhere to college policies and procedures.
  • Believe in and support the Student First Philosophy
  • Contribute to the overall success of Baker College
  • Act as a positive role model and brand ambassador on and off campus

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Associate degree from a college or technical school preferred, or 2 years of full-time work-related experience in any discipline or in a similar environment as an equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in a call center environment preferred, or experience in sales, retail, or customer service.
  • Exposure to omnichannel contact center environments is recommended.
